Update 2.7 for Genshin Impact has been pushed back indefinitely

HoYoverse is about to break the six-week update cycle for Genshin Impact. It became known that the next major update 2.7 will be released later than planned. How long the delay will be is still unknown.

The developers also do not specify the reason for the transfer, but most likely it is associated with a new outbreak of coronavirus in China, due to which a lockdown was announced in a number of cities. As compensation, all players will be sent in-game bonuses, which will be discussed in more detail later.

Dear Travelers! In accordance with the current progress of the project, the release of update 2.7 is delayed. More information about the release date of the update, the plan for optimizing game content and compensation will be announced later. Please watch for announcements. We will provide you with relevant information as soon as possible,” the authors said.

Recall that updates for Genshin Impact are released every six weeks. Considering that patch 2.6 was released on March 30th, patch 2.7 should have been expected on May 11th. However, the date has now been postponed indefinitely.
